Picnic blankets for Momentum 12 at Gallery F15

Together with 4 th and 6th grade at Møllergata school we have made picnic blankets inviting people to sit comfortably on them on the grass outside. We hope that our blankets will inspire conversations about equality and what to do to reduce violence towards women

A collaboration with Gelawesh Waledkhani, the organization People in Limbo and undocumented refugees in Norway. Through creative workshops, we are using drawing, text and embroidery as storytelling.

For three weeks I will work with all the kids in 4th grade, making protest T-shirts and a banner that grows every year. Through natural dye, paint, ink and conversations we are giving attention to violence against women and the fight for equality.

Expanding 2022!

In collaboration with the organization APPNES we are opening a new sewing- and dye workshop in a remote area of Juarez. With the help of local government, we are hiring five women which will go through our one year program of training in sewing and dyeing. Hilda, leading the program in collaboration with the main studio, started as one of our first women in 2017.
